Terms of Service

SchoMatch is a subscription-based software platform that helps students and researchers discover scholarships, funded PhD positions, postdoctoral opportunities and research opportunities matched to their profiles. It also provides AI-assisted tools for CV improvement, cover letters and supervisor emails. SchoMatch is a software tool only; it is not an agency, recruiter, university, funder or immigration adviser.

You must provide accurate information, be at least 16 years old, keep your credentials confidential, and remain responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms.

You may not upload content you do not have the right to use; submit false or fraudulent application material; impersonate another person; send spam or bulk unsolicited email through content generated on the platform; scrape, resell or redistribute the platform's data; attempt to bypass security, rate limits or access controls; or use the service for unlawful purposes.

SchoMatch offers a free Explorer package and two paid monthly packages: Scholar at $9.99 per month and Researcher Pro at $19.00 per month, billed in USD. Paid subscriptions are billed monthly and automatically renew every month until cancelled. Applicable taxes may be added at checkout. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s buyer terms also apply to your purchase. SchoMatch never receives or stores your card details.

You may cancel at any time from your account or by emailing support@schomatch.com. Cancellation stops future charges; your access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy.

Matching scores, eligibility explanations, CV improvements, cover letters, statements and emails are generated with AI assistance and may contain inaccuracies, outdated details or omissions. You are solely responsible for reviewing, editing, verifying and approving any content before sending or submitting it. SchoMatch does not warrant that output is accurate, complete or suitable for any particular application.

Opportunity listings, deadlines, eligibility rules, contacts and links come from third parties, including public web sources and material submitted for review. They may change or become inaccurate without notice. You must verify every opportunity with the official provider before applying or relying on it. SchoMatch is not affiliated with, and does not endorse or act on behalf of, any listed university, funder or supervisor.

SchoMatch is an independent software platform. It does not guarantee scholarships, admission, funding, employment or responses from supervisors. Users must verify opportunity information with the official provider.

You keep ownership of the documents and information you upload. You grant SchoMatch a limited licence to store and process them solely to provide the service to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

The service is provided "as is" and may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SchoMatch's total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including missed deadlines or unsuccessful applications. Nothing limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.

SchoMatch and its software, interfaces, matching logic, content and branding remain the property of the operator. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within your selected package. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, redistribute or circumvent technical limits of the service. You confirm you hold the rights to any content you upload; rights-holders may contact us at the address below to request removal of infringing content, and repeat infringement leads to account termination.

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated policy violations. We may also remove or refuse to generate content that is unlawful, abusive, deceptive or infringing. On termination you may request an export of your documents before deletion.
